The Crochet Boulevard is a place for you to share your crochet creations and discover new and inspiring blogs.
My name is Barbara, and my crochet blog is made in k-town. In August 2011 I had my first link-party there, and I thought it was more fun if the parties had a special theme. My readers voted for their favorite topic, and so we had a granny party, a flower party, a Valentine's party and many more (you can check them out here).
We had wonderful collections, and I thought it was a pity that they were buried under all my other posts all too soon, never to be seen again. So I started this new blog, The Crochet Boulevard, to celebrate a big crochet link-party with a special theme every month. Plus, there will also be lots of Free-Topic parties, where you can share any crochet.
Just below the posts is a poll where you can vote for your favorite topic. What would you like to see in the next collection? What would you like to share? If you've got suggestions for new topics, or if you'd like to see one of the previous topics back on the list again, just leave a comment and let me know!
Want to join the party-fun? There are just a few things you should keep in mind:
What you see is what you get: please link to the specific post where your chosen project can be found (not just your main blog address), and make sure that your post is about crochet and matches the given theme! No shops! Please understand that I might remove links that ignore these points.
Feel free to post as many links as you like - you should really search in the depths of your archives to retrieve your forgotten treasures, this is your chance to bring them back to the surface! :)

This is a great new place for your link parties. I put your button on my link parties page.
ReplyDeleteHi I'm so sorry I pasted the wrong URL (Zucchini dishes) which was intended for another link party featuring food. I can't figure out how to delete the link. Could you please do me the favor? I will post another link on my crochet work. So sorry, again! :( Please forgive me!!!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog and the things that you post about. After exploring your site and learning more about you we feel that your philosophies and interests are in line with ours, and we’d like to briefly tell you about our project Cambodia Knits: Crocheting for Good with the hopes that you will share our Kickstarter Campaign with your followers as we think it may be of interest.
Cambodia Knits is a social enterprise working with poor communities in and near the capital city of Phnom Penh. Our goal is to produce beautiful, high quality and unique hand-made products while providing fair and flexible employment opportunities. We’re currently running a campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for our new line of crochet products and so we can employ more people.
We would greatly appreciate it if you shared it with your followers, after checking it out yourself of course. You can find our more about our work and our campaign here: http://kck.st/1cHcHYA. I'm also happy to do any interviews, send more photos or anything else that you think would make a great blog post.
I’m happy to answer any questions about Cambodia Knits or our Kickstarter campaign that you might have. Thanks so much for your time and support. You can reach me at monika@cambodiaknits.com
